We’re seeking writers and interviewers who help readers understand what changed—and what comes next.
The news tells you what happened. We explain what changed. Social Storytellers Collective welcomes journalists, writers and subject-matter experts who bring original reporting, informed perspectives and thoughtful conversations to the forces shaping everyday life.
We publish across five editorial beats: Access, Policy, Culture in Motion, Tech and Business. We’re interested in contributors who can connect developments in these areas to their consequences for people, communities and institutions.
Original reporting that explains a development, who is affected and what changes next.
Thoughtful conversations with subject-matter experts who bring evidence, context and practical insight.
Interviewers with established networks who can connect SSC with business leaders, policymakers and other decision-makers willing to share their expertise and discuss their work.
Stories exploring how people build their work, navigate challenges and sustain their ambitions.
Clear, sourced pieces that help readers understand complex issues across our five beats.
Distinct perspectives grounded in evidence, relevant experience and a clear argument.
We welcome contributors who can identify and interview people with firsthand knowledge of the issues we cover. If your network includes leaders, entrepreneurs, researchers or community voices interested in reaching our audience, we want to hear about the conversations you could bring to SSC.
Our interviews should explore decisions, challenges, lessons learned and what comes next. Help readers understand the substance behind someone’s work and the insights they can offer beyond a promotional message.
We value clear writing, credible sources and a distinct point of view. Strong contributions explain who is affected, what the evidence shows and why the story deserves attention now.
Reported pieces should be accurate and verifiable. Commentary should support its arguments with evidence and distinguish opinion from fact. Contributors should disclose relevant affiliations or conflicts of interest and be open to working with an editor.
